Ice storm...
Apparently we are getting another ice storm like back in 05. People are already flipping out. Walmart is sold out of bread…people aren’t playing around this time around. It will be funny if the storm turns out to be nothing.

4girlz asked: I am an American woman born into a Christian family who married a Muslim man 14 years ago. The kids (3 girls) are being raised Muslim. My Christian family as I was growing up were a hypocritical bible bangers who said one thing and did the complete opposite. Obviously, it left a major impact on me and a bad taste for religion all around. I am stating this just so you know a little about my...

Why I'm pro-life. Religion has nothing to do with...
I’m the type of person to be really aggravated by people celebrating roe v. wade. Celebrating abortions is like celebrating suicide. Saying if a woman doesn’t want to have a baby, she should terminate it is no different than saying if a woman doesn’t want to go on living, she should just kill herself. I believed in feminist values but couldn’t “come out” as a feminist because I was having a hard time finding my niche in the feminist world. I was coming across a lot of feminists that really pissed me off because of their apathy when it came to women...

Racism in Islam: The Question of Interracial...
The Prophet (SAW) said:
“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any “superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. ...

What's in a name? An essay by a feminist of faith.
I want to begin with a quote from a female Muslim writer, Sartaz Aziz:
“I am deeply grateful that my first ideas of God were formed by Islam because I was able to think of the Highest Power as one completely without sex or race, and thus completely unpatriarchal …
We begin with the idea of a deity who is completely above...
